bookolympics takes off on Twitter

Everyone’s caught Olympic fever, but us bookish types were feeling a little left out; after all, it’s not like reading is an Olympic sport. (If it were, though, our medal tally might be looking a little different right now. Just. Saying.)

We thought we’d find a way to get involved, and so #bookolympics was born on twitter. The premise is simple: take a book title and sportify it. We started with ‘One Hundred Metres of Solitude’ and it snowballed from there. Here are some of our favourites:
