It’s that time of year again...
Submissions for the tenth annual 2017 Text Prize for Young Adult and Children’s Writing open today. We’ve got lots in store for this milestone year.
The Text Prize aims to discover incredible new books for young adults and children by Australian and New Zealand writers.
You have until Friday 3 February to send in your unpublished manuscript—so finish those last lines or dust off that manuscript in the bottom drawer and get in quick! The winner receives a publishing contract with Text and a $10,000 advance against royalties.
Published and unpublished writers of all ages are eligible to enter with works of fiction or non-fiction.
A shortlist will be revealed in early April 2017 and the winner announced later in that month.
