Sydney Writers’ Festival announces School Days sessions

Sydney Writers' Festival has released details for next year’s School Days—an opportunity for teachers and students to directly engage with a great line-up of children’s and young adult authors.

Those attending Primary School Days will get the opportunity to meet and listen to the engaging Richard Newsome, author of The Billionaire’s Curse and The Emerald Casket. Richard will unlock the secrets to the first two much-loved adventure romps in The Billionaire Trilogy. And, if they’re lucky, they may just get a hint or two about book three, due out in late 2011.

At Secondary School Days multi-award winning NZ author Bernard Beckett will speak about his new book August (to be released in March) and take a philosophical look at how much we really control our own lives.

Tickets are available now so download the program and check out all the great sessions on offer from these and other great authors.
