The longlist for this year’s prestigious Miles Franklin Literary Award contains two books published by Text last year: Murray Bail’s The Pages, and Toni Jordan’s debut novel, Addition. The shortlist will be released on 16 April, and the winner of the $42,000 prize will be announced at a gala dinner in Sydney on 18 June.
