Here On Earth is Tim Flannery’s first major work since The Weather Makers, the book that energised the climate debate in this country.

In his new book, Tim explores the history of our planet, discusses the evolutionary philosophies of Darwin, Wallace, Lovelock and Dawkins, and argues that humans can be the saviours of the planet, rather than its destroyers.

As part of his national tour, Tim will be speaking at a Wheeler Centre event to be held at the Athenaeum Theatre in Melbourne on Thursday, 7 October at 7.30pm.
