Café Scheherazade at fortyfivedownstairs

After a successful premiere season earlier this year, the stage adaptation of Arnold Zable’s Café Scheherazade returns for a second run at fortyfivedownstairs.

Café Scheherazade is a contemporary Australian play by Thérèse Radic, based on the bestselling 2001 novel by Arnold Zable and directed by Bagryana Popov. The play provides poignant insights into displaced and homeless refugees and pays homage to their struggle and determination to survive.

The season runs from 20 August to 11 September. For tickets, please call (03) 9662 9966 or book online here.
