The Melbourne Writers Festival has already begun and this year includes a stellar line-up of Text authors. With over 30 authors appearing (you can see the full list here) you are sure to be able to see some of your favourites. Visit the MWF site to see the program and purchase tickets.

Two other great festivals kick-off this week as well. Both the Brisbane Writers Festival and the Christchurch Writers Festival begin Wednesday. Elif Batuman, Steph Bowe, Stephen Daisley, Garry Disher and Jessica Rudd will take to the stage in Brisbane, while Emily Maguire, Richard Newsome and Kirsten Reed will be making the trip to Christchurch.
