Join Nir Baram at the Brisbane Writers Festival in conversation with Paul Barclay.
They will be discussing Nir’s latest book, A Land Without Borders, a passionate and essential guide to understanding a complex reality which comes from his travels around the West Bank and East Jerusalem speaking with a wide range of people, from children who survived the war in Gaze to ex-prisoners detained in Israeli jails.
Nir Baram was born into a political family in Jerusalem in 1976. His grandfather and father were both ministers in Israeli Labor Party governments. He has worked as a journalist and an editor, and as an advocate for equal rights for Palestinians. He is the author of five novels, including Good People and A Land Without Borders.
