Join Text authors Mark Baker and Bram Presser at the Sydney Jewish Writers Festival this August!

With Geraldine Doogue, Mark Baker is launching his new book Thirty Days: A Journey to the End of Love, and Bram Presser is appearing on the panel, ‘Giving Voice to the Past’.

As well as The Fiftieth Gate, A Journey Through Memory, a seminal book on his parents’ experience during the Holocaust, Mark Raphael Baker has written a compelling memoir, Thirty Days, A Journey to the End of Love, about the recent death of his wife. He is Director of the Australian Centre for Jewish Civilisation and Associate Professor of Holocaust and Genocide Studies in the School at Monash University, Melbourne.

Bram Presser was born in Melbourne in 1976. His stories have appeared in Best Australian Stories, Award Winning Australian Writing, The Sleepers Almanac and Higher Arc.
