Nadia Wheatley

As a child, Nadia Wheatley had a sense of the great divide between her parents, who had met and married while working in Germany on the frontline of the Cold War. Growing up in 1950s Australia, Nadia became a player in their deadly contest and at age 10 she began writing down her mother’s stories. This now finished memoir is a loving tribute as well as a social history of 20th century Australia.
