Text authors, Lucy Neave and Clare Wright are guests of the 2014 Batemans Bay Writers Festival.

Lucy Neave teaches Creative Writing at the Australian National University. Her debut novel, Who We Were, is the story of an Australian couple, set during the Cold War that is an intimate and powerful love story about trust, obsession and the truth itself.

Clare Wright is a historian and author who has worked as a political speechwriter, radio and television broadcaster and university lecturer. Her new book, The Forgotten Rebels of Eureka, looks at the crucial role women played in the events surrounding the Eureka Stockade. It won the 2014 Stella Prize.
