J. M. Coetzee: A Reading
    1. Coetzee’s new novel, The Childhood of Jesus, is a beautiful and surprising fable about a small boy who arrives by boat in a new country.

The first author to win the Booker Prize twice, Coetzee won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 2003. Many consider him to be the greatest novelist working in English today. He’s also one of the most inventive, habitually playing with form and genre.

This is a rare chance to hear this master novelist in person, as he reads from his new book in his only Australian appearance.
