Diana Sweeney is the debut author of The Minnow, winner of the Text Prize for Young Adult and Children’s Writing 2013.

The Minnow is a moving and powerful coming-of-age story about a young girl called Tom, who survived a devastating flood that claimed the lives of her sister and parents. Tom is a character you will never forget.

Other writers at this event are Ellie Marney, Liam Pieper and Tom O’Byrne.
