Nicolas Rothwell is an author and a journalist for the Australian. His books include The Red Highway and Journeys to the Interior, and his coverage of Indigenous affairs has earned him a Walkley Award.

Sally Warhaft is a Melbourne anthropologist, broadcaster and former editor of The Monthly magazine. She is the author of Well May We Say: The Speeches that Made Australia and a regular commentator on the ABC. Sally has a PhD in Anthropology and did her fieldwork in Mumbai, India, with a local fishing community.
