Let’s talk about sex

Sex is salaciously splashed across our pages, screens and billboards. Is that liberating and empowering, or depressing and corrupting? How have new understandings of sex and sexuality shaped notions of love and intimacy? And what are they doing to body image and self-esteem?

Chaired by Shirli Kirschner, with Prof Dennis Altman, Dr Leslie Cannold and Graeme Friedman.

The Sydney Jewish Writers' Festival is a biennial, festival dedicated to celebrating the richness and diversity of Jewish writing. It showcases the talents of writers from around Australia and overseas who identify as Jewish or who write on Jewish themes.
