Join us at North Melbourne Library when Kristin Otto discusses her latest book Capital.

In 1901 the Australian colonies came together to form a new nation which, for the next 26 years, was governed from Melbourne. In the extraordinary first quarter of the twentieth century, this town oversaw the birth of modern Australia. The conversation will be led by Melbourne writer Paul Bateman. His work has appeared on the ABC, in the Age and various other publications.
