Expat Private Investigator Jayne Keeney returns in Angela Savage’s latest detective thriller set in Southeast Asia, The Dying Beach.

Angela lived and worked in Asia for years and brings a distinctive sense of place to her writing. Her work has been praised for its elegance and wittiness, and in the best traditions of noir, its concern with social inequality and use of edgy social commentary. Her previous books in this series were Behind the Night Bazaar and The Half-Child. She won the 2004 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an unpublished manuscript and the Scarlett Stiletto Award and has twice been shortlisted for Ned Kelly awards.
